showing his cutting skills
eating his creation, mac and cheese, broccoli, hot dogs, mushrooms
Everyone thinks their kid is cute, gifted, amazing, etc. We think Tegan is a natural chef. He has always loved playing with the kitchen. We have 3 play stoves for him. He learned the words; Boiling, Strainer, pasta, and spatula at a very early age. He's gifted. Yes, I think so. If I let him watch TV, he could sit and watch Rachel Ray for hours. He keeps me on my toes in the kitchen. He lets me know when water is boiling, to put the lid on, time to get the strainer...yada yada yada.
Today I let him use his plastic knives to help me cut things. I don't know why I didn't think of it before. At Art class, I heard the teacher say they use plastic cutlery in the little chefs class, and they cut about everything. So we tried it. A HUGE hit. Tegan is a big helper normally, but this takes it to a new level. He was so into it.
I was going to post a video, but I cannot get it to work!!

That's so cool! I bet he'll be making fabulous meals for you one day. Would love to see video if you can get it working. :)
We have pretty much the same wagon, BTW. The boys love it.
